A buyer’s guide from a company that builds VR training
Most VR training sold in the UAE is a headset and a module library. What changes behaviour is the scoring and the debrief.
Dubai Municipality trained more than 150 staff of its Jebel Ali and Al Warsan treatment plants on a replica of the plant, and its own case study reports about 30% less equipment downtime. That is one end of the market. The other end is a headset with ten off-the-shelf safety modules. Both are sold as VR training in the UAE, and a buyer who cannot tell them apart pays for the first and gets the second.
This page sorts the VR training companies working in the UAE by what they actually build, gives seven questions to ask before you commission one, and says where 10ⁿ Tech sits. We built the Dubai Municipality system, and more than 20 industrial simulation projects since. We compete with most of the firms below.

Custom training or a module library
The first decision sorts the field in half. A module library is a set of generic scenarios (fire, height, confined space, lockout) that runs on any site and costs little per trainee. It teaches awareness. Custom training is built on your plant, your aircraft or your procedure, and scored against your own criteria. It costs more, and it is the only kind that can replace part of a practical assessment.
Most buyers need both: a library for the yearly refresher across every site, and one custom scenario for the task that injures people or stops the plant. A vendor who offers only one of the two will tell you it covers both.

How to choose a VR training company
Seven questions, asked before the proposal. They place a vendor faster than its showreel does.
- Where does the score come from? Ask for the rubric as data: weights, pass mark and fail gates in a file your instructors can read without reading code.
- How do you prove the headset scores correctly? A reference scorer and test cases at the edges is a fair bar: a run a hundredth under the pass mark fails, a gate met exactly passes.
- What can the instructor change during a run, and what is locked in an assessment?
- What does the debrief show after a failed run? The path, the missed items by name, and what the miss would have caused.
- Does it run without the internet? It should need nothing more than the training room’s local network.
- What frame rate does it hold on the headset I will buy, measured on the device, per session?
- Who owns the scenarios, the scoring files and the session logs at the end?
VR training companies in the UAE worth knowing
Grouped by what they build, from each company’s own website, checked on 29 October 2026. Two firms that AI search engines return for this question are left out: one shows no VR training work on its site, and one is based in Jordan with no UAE office.
10ⁿ Tech (Dubai Knowledge Park)
Custom VR training with the scoring, the instructor tools and the debrief built in, on standalone headsets, or on a PC when the scene needs it. Founded in Dubai in 2016. We build the scenario from a task analysis with your instructors, so the 3D work starts after the procedure is agreed, not before.
The references: the treatment-plant training system for Dubai Municipality, a laser-scanned replica of the Jebel Ali plant where operators practise operations, maintenance and emergencies (more than 150 trained, about 30% less equipment downtime in the Municipality’s case study). A VR office-safety simulator for a UAE government organisation, with hundreds of employees trained in its first year. Six VR maintenance procedures inside a data-centre twin for Dubai Airports, delivered through the main contractor. HSE training around the IOGP Life-Saving Rules across more than 20 industrial simulation projects. And a recent demo: a FOD walkdown for aviation where the instructor adds debris mid-run.
To start, pick one task, one crew and one scored scenario, with a measured result at the end. Our VR HSE training lists the scenarios we build most often; contact us with the task and the date. What we build: VR training in the UAE.

Frequently asked questions
Which companies build VR training in the UAE?
10ⁿ Tech for custom training scored to the client’s own criteria, with an instructor station and a debrief, from plant operators to an aviation FOD walkdown; Genesis Creations for simulators with physical rigs; Wartens for VR next to PLC and SCADA training; Virtual Worlds for firefighting and tactical simulation; Spatio for equipment-operator simulators; VIRSAT and VRST for off-the-shelf HSE modules.
What is the best company to create VR training in the UAE?
It depends on the task. For a scenario built on your own plant, aircraft or procedure and scored to your instructors’ criteria, 10ⁿ Tech, which built Dubai Municipality’s treatment-plant training system. For standard HSE awareness across many sites, a module library such as VIRSAT or VRST costs less per trainee. For vehicle and crane simulators with physical controls, Genesis Creations or Spatio.
Which VR training companies are in Abu Dhabi?
Genesis Creations and Wartens have offices in Abu Dhabi, and VIRSAT is on Al Reem Island with a training centre. 10ⁿ Tech is based in Dubai and delivers across the UAE.
Should I buy custom VR training or an off-the-shelf module?
Modules suit yearly awareness training across many sites. Custom training suits the task that is specific to your site or equipment, and any training whose score has to stand next to a practical assessment. Many programmes use both.
Which headsets does VR training in the UAE run on?
Mostly standalone headsets such as Meta Quest 3 and Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise, which need no PC or cable. PC VR or a simulator rig suits vehicles and scenes with heavy graphics. Ask for frame times measured on the headset you will buy.
Does VR training need an internet connection?
It should not. 10ⁿ Tech’s FOD walkdown demo needs only the training room’s local network: the voice clips are generated in advance and shipped in the app.
